How to create a new Custom Leave
1 - Click on “Settings” from main menu
2 - Click on “Leave management” tab
3 - Click on “Add new” button
4 - Fill in the required data as follows
4.1 - Leave Name: Customized leave name in English Language that should neither be repeated nor left blank
4.2 - Leave Name Ar: Customized leave name in Arabic Language that should not be left blank
4.3 - Leave Type: Customized leave type that could be chosen from pre-defined leave types
4.4 - Eligibilty Year: Type of Eligibility Year either “Calendar – Fiscal -On demand -Service”
4.5 - Entitlement Timing: Leave Entitlement timing either “Beginning – End Or Monthly”
4.6 - Exclusions: Leave Exclusions either “None - Public Holidays – Weekend – Weekend and Public Holidays”
4.7 - Max Leave Request: Maximum Number of Requests the Employee can send of that Leave Type
4.8 - Max Yearly Leave Request: Employee Leave balance of that type of customized Leave where the counter is reset

4.9 - Max Leave Request Period: Maximum Number of Days the Employee could Leave due to that Customized Leave
4.10 - Max Leave Request Period: Maximum Number of Requests the Employee could do during one month of that leave type
4.11 - Optional Choices: Could be triggered either ON or OFF and does not require extra information except for Deducted
Leave which requires entering Deduction percentage
4.12 - Rule: A Rule could be added for that Customized Leave
4.13 - Entitlement/Deduction: A pay element can be associated with this type of leave, allowing for an entitlement to be
added to or a deduction to be subtracted from the employee's salary accordingly
5 - Click on "Add New Rule" button
6 - Fill in the Rule details as follows
6.1 - Entitlement Days: Number of Entitlement days for the employee in that customized Leave
6.2 - From Service Year: The minimum number of service years required for employees to be eligible to request this
customized leave.
6.3 - From Service Months: The minimum number of service months, as a fraction of a year, required for employees to be
eligible to request this customized leave.
Example: If From Service Year is set to 5 and From Service Month is set to 6, the software will allow employees with 5.5
years of service or more to request this type of leave.
6.4 - To Service Year: The maximum number of service years up to which employees can request this customized leave.
6.5 - To Service Month: The maximum number of service months, as a fraction of a year, up to which employees can request
this customized leave.
6.6 - Group Data: Could be “All Company” Or “By Group” where “By Group” allows to filter Employees by “Location -
Department - Business Unit-Job - Grade - Contract Type - Gender Or Religion”
7 - Press “Add” to add the created Rule to the Customized Leave
8 - Press on “Add Pay Element” Button
9 - Fill in the Required Information as follows
9.1 - Pay Element: Select a Pay Element from the pre-added Pay element in Payroll Management Settings
9.2 - Daily Rate: Select the desired daily rate for the entitlement or deduction from the predefined options. The
available options are as follows:
- 22 Days/Month: Calculate the daily rate based on a 22-day working month.
- 26 Days/Month: Calculate the daily rate based on a 26-day working month.
- 30 Days/Month: Calculate the daily rate based on a 30-day working month.
- 260/12 Days/Month: Calculate the daily rate based on an average of 260 working days per year divided by 12 months.
- 365 Days/Month: Calculate the daily rate based on all 365 days of the year.
- Actual Month Days: Calculate the daily rate based on the actual number of days in the specific month.
Choose the option that best suits the company's policy for calculating daily rates related to entitlements and
deductions.
9.3-Press On check Mark upon adding the required Entitlement/Deduction Information
10 - Press on “Add” button to add the new Custom Leave
